As the new President of Skal Kenya Nairobi, I would like to say how honored I am to have been elected as President.
My Executive committee and I have no doubt that the year ahead will be one challenging as we embark on the inspiration to enhance our Monthly forums ;- ‘ better experience undertaking business amongst friends', networking with the various publics and the increasing of membership numbers.
Our Club has grown steadily in the past year , our focus in the coming calendar year will be to see a minimum Net growth in numbers whist maintaining a quality membership.
We request members to take advantage of our worldwide network and undertake business with friends internationally through extensive us of Skal.org website, The Skal Greeter program will greatly enhance your networking opportunities in any Club of attend.
The Skal Congress 2012 in Korea is anther great networking opportunity and we encourage our members to attend this forum – and in addition join Skal Kenya as we bid to host the Skal world Congress in 2015. Locally my Committee and I will strive to organize exciting Inter- clubs (Nairobi and Mombasa) and well as our own individual get -together to keep us all in the spirit of Skal.
Enhancing our public relations remain one of our main objectives this year, as we continue to create awareness of the great potential of Skal Kenya. This year we strategize to creating a bonding relationship with the various hospitality associations including the Government thereby creating a platform where skalleaques can then participate more broadly in addressing issues within our hospitality sector and indeed all sectors that we continually interact with.
Finally may I thank the immediate past president Mrs. Lucy Macridis for the commitment and effort she and her team has undertaken in the last one year ensure that Skal remained exciting for all members
